Preparing for Bon Odori – Welcome Party!
Doors are open, and now festival goers are being treated to the festival’s first act,the traditional Bon Odori performance, welcoming old friends and spirits back to the festival. Earlier today, we caught up with Mister Wim who is responsible for designing the stage. That’s his giant ball above the stage, and two peripheral ones as well. Wim is also responsible for the reflective stickers seen around the festival. So if you see him, feel free to ask for one.
