ATOMIC CAFE : TOSHI-LOW [Guest:YAMAZAKI(toe)]
Toshi-Low from Brahman and Overground Acoustic Underground did a low-key acoustic set on Sunday afternoon at Gypsy Avalon. Toshi-Low started out on his own but was joined partway through the show by Toe guitarist Hirokazu Yamazaki.
In a very talkative mood, Toshi-Low spent a good chunk of his 50-minute slot speaking both to the audience and also to Yamazaki. But he still managed to mix half-a-dozen or so songs in as well. He and Yamazaki did a cover of Yura Yura Teikoku’s “Kudo Desu” together before playing Toe’s brilliant “Goodbye.”
