Forest of Art
Colorful shapes animated by the breeze
In the space along the boardwalk once occupied by the “Mokudo-tei” stage lies a new art installation made up of colorful orbs on the forest floor and spinning helix-shaped objects suspended from leafy branches. Occasional puffs of white ooze forth from hidden fog machines, adding a mysterious vibe to the forest scene.
The installation changes with the breeze and how the objects catch the angle of sunlight piercing the treetops.
Already impressive by day, I’m keen to see it dramatically lit by beams of light at night.
