Ouzo is an anise-y Mediterranean liqueur. A bazooka is a weaponized tube that shoots a bomb into your face. And apparently Tel-Aviv based Ouzu Bazooka can pack enough aforementioned spirit into one to blow you straight back to the summer of love.

Visually and sonically the band is cut from a very tie-dyed Haight-Ashbury freak out and expand your mind cloth, something which the draping fabric decor of Cafe de Paris lends itself to. While the lyrics and songs structure are traditional hippy psychedelic, the modern synths and occasional hints of surf rock and Balkan music give things a modern edge. Tune in, turn on and rock out. Now if only those mannequins at the front served up moloko plus…

Also be careful not to stare too deeply into singer Uri’s eyes… I’m pretty sure the band is just fronting a cult and that he is actively recruiting.
