Fuji Rock has many stages. Perhaps the smallest and most peculiar can be found between the Green and White stages, right along the forested walkway. To call it a stage might be a bit of an overstatement, perhaps small clearing on the dirt is a better description. Throughout the fest this is where you will find EPPAI, mapcap one-man-band busker and clown.

He is hard to miss with his pink and green hair. Oh, and also the fact that he plays violin, harmonica, piano and drums all at the same time. But this is only where his act begins. It is a show that involves good-natured crowd antagonism and involvement, party poppers exploded into the mouth, wind up birds and exploding cans of beer. If this isn’t enough to pique your interest, I suggest checking to see if you still have a pulse.

He can be found at his forest home throughout the fest, performing how he wants to and when he wants to.
