Taken before the rain got out of hand and the river rose a few centimeters, these amazing photos taken by Ryota Mori show some the gon-chan art early today in the river near the Tokoro-Tengoku bridge.

Hoping for a break in the inclement weather, we hope our dear gon-chans are hanging tightly onto the river bed and will re-emerge tomorrow (relatively) unscathed.
