On a wet rainy evening, there was no better place to be than inside the Crystal Palace. While many sought shelter from the elements, the majority were shaking themselves in front of cumbia dj and music producer, Emiliano Gomez, aka Ego.360.

Unlike others who perform the role of music selector simply performing the music of others, Ego.360 goes a step further, traveling the world as a sort of musical anthropologist seeking out the tastiest cumbia, reggae, dub, and hip-hop. He’s using this music to craft a new wave of cumbia which can be played in night clubs as well as on festival stages and anywhere music is danced to and celebrated. His performance late this evening was a perfect set up for later act, Zoo, who also mix the above mentioned genres into a relevant musical blend that is both entertaining and enjoyable to everyone.

Cumbia Djs at Crystal Palace face high expectations as many ply this genre including Dj Txao who was in full support behind the decks as well as Cumbia Kid, aka Jason Mayall. Each of these Djs came out to lend support to one of the most refreshing and innovative cumbia dis in recent years.

Even though it was late and sleep seemed to be a better option on th exist night of the festival, many chose to stay and see this set to the end at Crystal Palace, making it a delightful experience for each and everyone in attendance.
