Hi everyone!

I’m Mika, one of your guides to Fuji Rock this year. Lovely to meet you! As a first time festival goer/Fuji Rock attendee, I’m super excited to dive into the Japanese music scene with you all! I went to lots of local concerts back in my hometown of Rochester, Michigan and a small handful of big-name concerts throughout the years. Some artists on my concert bucket list are Rina Sawayama, Official HIGE DANdism and Weekend Hours.

A: My favorite live music experience was a Glass Animals concert in 2017!

A: Potential Breakup Song – Aly & AJ (especially if my sisters are there to sing with me)

A: Melodrama – Lorde

Q: Who is one musician/band you want to dine with?
A: (Re: my previous answer) I would love to dine with Lorde!

Q: What’s your go-to kombini in Japan?
A: Family mart! Specifically, the Family Mart that is one minute from my apartment building.

Q: What venue was the first concert you ever went to and who did you see?
A: Lana Del Rey’s The Endless Summer Tour at DTE Energy Music Theatre!

A: SNAIL MAIL!!!
