Fuji Rock would be a much blander place without its street performers and buskers, who work tirelessly to make sure there isn’t a patch of ground around Naeba that isn’t entertaining. And avant garde magicianing clown Masato Moja is one of the best.

Card magic, balloon devouring, inanimate pigeons miraculously coming to life, Moja has a lot of tricks up his fashionable sleeves. But above the what he does is the how he does it, with a cool charisma most performers could only dream of. It is hard to take your eyes off him, even when he is just sitting and applying grease paint.
