Whether you are coming in or going out, you are bound to head past the toilets on the way to Yellow Cliff. And on Thursday’s Zenyasai that’s where you are likely to find a man doing things you have probably never seen a human do before. Like juggling while playing the violin (yes, really), or tearing a shaken beer can apart with their bare teeth, or magically sticking cutlery to their chest then using them as instruments, or systematically murdering wind-up chicks to the glee of assembled children. Not things your typical human does.

But this man is no typical human, this man is EPPAI, and he can be found around Fuji Rock each year along with all the other members of his jolly band of busking misfits. His performances are Marx Brothers-esque frolicking antics raised to the level of gleeful Dadaist art. No trip to Fuji Rock is complete without seeing at least one of his performances, so don’t miss yours!
