If you are feeling a bit like you are roasting on a spit, why not dip your little piggies in the icy cool water of Asagai river! It flows through much of the festival grounds, but the best access for casual paddle is at Tokoro Tengoku.

You can also make some Gon-chan friends while you are there, that’s their favorite spot to cool off too! Just remember, the Gon-chan really want to stay put in their riverbed homes until Sunday. But from Sunday morning you can rehome them yourself! They are easy to take care of too! All they require is lots of love. Oh, and good music.
