A lot of punters are wearing soccer jerseys today, primarily from Japan’s top-flight J-League. At first it seemed like just a fashion coincidence – maybe a soccer jersey just feels better? – but then we spotted a large clump of kit-wearing fans gathered near the Red Marquee. One man, in front of a white board with “J-League Fans” written on it, was explaining an activity for the day to the crowd. We showed up a bit late so we missed lots of the details – and we aren’t sure if this is J-League viral marketing or just a really, really dedicated set of soccer fans – but keep an eye out for them!
