It sometimes takes a while to get between stages at Fuji Rock, but this was ridiculous. In an effort to get to the Field Of Heaven, we took the boardwalk, hoping it would be a shortcut. Nope. A line formed on the boardwalk, which added substantially to the overall travel time. Yikes!

Though, to be fair, the reason for the wait was something understandeable. There is a small stage along the boardwalk, and a folk singer had just started her set while we were walking. This meant a lot of people in transit suddenly stopped to watch, slowing everything down. Well, at least it was for (good!) music.

Still, I wouldn’t want to get caught in a line now, when the sky has opened up.
