JAM CITY
Jam City’s squggling and squelching beats over bass so deep it was more felt than heard kept late nighters going strong under the Red Marquee. A reggae dancehall vibe permeated most of the bass heavy tracks, with moments of modern R&B sprinkled in. Real name Jack Latham, the South London producer injected plenty of his trademark sound into the set, supported by samples and remix tracks ranging from recent radio jams like Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody”, to more rough-around-the-edges dancehall like Charly Black’s “Yeh F$#k Sweet”.
