Foodie Rock Fest 2015: Berry Mix Kezuri

The ominous clouds and occasional rainstorms playing out over the first two days of the Fuji Rock Festival have evaporated now, and any fears of that weather sticking around are long gone. Saturday is hot, a day demanding of sunscreen and lots of water. It also might not be a bad idea to grab a cool snack — and near the Red Marquee lies one perfect for a scorcher like today.

The Berry Mix Kezuri offers only one food, but that titular item is really really good, especially in the heat. As the name hints at, it’s a variety of berries (primarily strawberries and blueberries, it looked like) shaved, chilled and served together. It’s refreshing and feels healthy (well, the treat gets topped off with a generous blob of whipped cream which isn’t quite as diet friendly…but hey, it’s hot out, gotta keep cool), and perfect for the hot afternoon ahead at Naeba.
