Don't miss this chilled-out, unique area

While separated from the main festival grounds by a 15-20 minute walk, Pyramid Garden has a unique atmosphere, lots of food/drink options, and plenty of interesting activities to keep you occupied between performances.

The area is surrounded by campsites and takes on a special mood once the sun goes down, with special candlelit installations by artist Candle June.

During the day, kids and romp and play on the wooden structures and swings that dot the area.

Pyramid Garden is served by a few excellent cafes, food stalls, bars and even a massage tent to relieve those tired leg muscles!

The Pyramis Cafe and flanking Pyramid Side Bar looked to have some interesting drink options, including a handmade Earl Grey Orange Vinegar drink that I made note to come back and try later. Instead, I opted for their Iced Rum Chai (pictured in the image slides). It was sweet and spicy with a little refreshing kick to get you going in the morning.

The area is also home base for the Croissant Circus, of which a few members were practicing their acts when I passed by. You can also catch the yoga workshops here first-thing each morning.

To access the area, follow the path behind the Naeba Prince Hotel past the campsites. Well worth the trek!
