The heat is here…

The heat is well and truly here. If you really looking for a way to escape it, head to the river just before the entrance to the White Stage where you can rest your feet in some chilled river water. It’s perfect for tired feet as well and you can try to see the festival’s coloured stone mascots, Gon-chan. If that’s too crowded, there’s several other less-authorised places to seek out such as near the Cafe de Paris and also off the boardwalk between the White and Green Stage. But try to stick to the main spot near the White Stage if possible!
