MORE FUN

A Breezy Beginning

Good morning from Naeba! it was looking a little bit overcast and misty earlier this morning but the sky has cleared and there’s a beautiful blue sky and a breeze running through the festival site. Don’t take that as gospel that things will remain the same, though. Bring your poncho and your sun scream, just in case!

As you can see from last night’s photo reports, the festival kicked off in grand fashion with a fantastic opening set from Con Brio, who are playing late tonight at Crystal Palace and Field of Heaven on Saturday afternoon. Definitely a band to catch in action this weekend.

They were followed by the Akabane Vulgars on Strong Bypass, a rockabilly trio from Tokyo. We had a taste of the wonders and delights to come at the Crystal Palace from The Illusive Man and the Los Icarios Flying Circus. Finally, Non Stop Punk, a “super group” of seasoned musicians played a Hugh-energy set full of covers that hot the crowd suitably excited for the rest of the weekend.

Check back with us throughout the day for live reports, photos and more as we welcome more festival-goers into the site for the weekend.
