No Slacking Off
Over at the Cafe de Paris, there’s various activities going on but the most eye-catching one is the slack line. Normally open to amateurs to try their luck, the wet weather has put a kibosh on that. However, that has opened up more time for professionals to show off. There were three there as I passed, including a past female junior world champion. Their fearless, gravity-defying flips, somersaults and bounces off the slack line are made even more impressive by the fact that the merest slip will result in them getting a thorough mud face bath. Don’t try this at home kids!
