Pleasant music for the post-noon hours
Trio ikanimo created the sort of songs on the Gypsy Avalon Sunday afternoon that were perfect to completely zone out to. The outfit used a pleasant mix of acoustic guitar, accordion, drums and a handful of other left-field instruments to create a soft soundtrack to a relatively pleasant afternoon, give or take a shower. It was the sort of light post-noon fare that worked wonders as a soundtrack to doing something else, whether it be standing in line to buy a vegetable-heavy kebab, sprawling out in a hammock hidden just to the right of the stage or simply zoning out from the top of the hill in front of the stage in a chair. You couldn’t ask for a more agreeable soundtrack.
