Wasabi Gelato, Why Not?
There are probably stranger combinations at the fest
“Wasabi gelato,” how are you going to pass that up? A stall near the Gypsy Avalon primarily peddling fried goods listed this on their menu, and by Sunday at Fuji Rock it’s like “why not” ya know? Anyway, this cool treat features a few specks of wasabi mixed into a vanilla gelato, and those bits add a nice sharp flavor boost that never overwhelmed. My big takeaway from Fuji Rock 2017 — sometimes unlikely combinations are good.
