MORE FUN AREA REPORT ORANGE CAFE

Out In The Rain

We ended up caught in a deluge

Early we talked about how pleasant the weather at Naeba had been so far. Well…I truly regret writing those ones down now. A little before 3 in the afternoon, a light rain started falling over the Fuji Rock grounds, and around the Orange Cafe area everyone hightailed it into one of the spacious tents offering shelter (pictures featured in this post taken around then). They were smart, because minutes later it really opened up, turning the area into one big muddy field and soaking anyone who hadn’t found some shelter. I waited out the rain for an hour under one of those orange covers, and even then the ground within started to get mighty moist. That’s how strong it was. Here’s hoping that was it for the weekend.
