Catfish And The Bottlemen cancel Fuji Rock set, The Telephones fill in

The 2015 Fuji Rock Festival is set to kick off in less than a day, but a few changes on the timetable are already unfolding. Welsh outfit Catfish and the Bottlemen cancelled their Sunday set at the Green Stage (along with stops in Australia and South Korea), citing illness in a Facebook message posted to the group’s Facebook page. “”The band are obviously absolutely devastated not to be making the trip and hope fans will understand,” they wrote in the message.

Stepping up to take their spot is frantic Saitama band The Telephones. They are no strangers to Fuji Rock, having played the White Stage two years ago, though they’ll now bring their energetic, shriek-rock to the gathering’s biggest spot.
