Thursday night “zenyasai” crowds were given a taste of what’s to come in the many weekend-long performances by the acrobatic Martinez Family.

Brothers Alan and Arashi Martinez performed an impressive feat of mid-air tumbling, with 11-year-old Arashi doing a series of quickfire flips, landing each time with impressive balance on his brothers feet before somersaulting again and again in perfect rhythm.

The pair ratcheted up the danger levels a notch when they brought out a mechanical scaffold which slowly raised the pair upward until they were nearly touching the rafters of the Red Marquee, with tremendous applause from the crowd.

With tonights short performance just a small teaser of what’s to come from the Martinez Family this weekend, they’ll be performing three times each night in the Crystal Palace Arena. All their shows are sure to wow crowds each time with a variety of different feats of balance and acrobatics.
