Sunny and Francis from Beijing, China, exchanged wedding vows (and whiskey) at the top of Fuji Rock opposite the Daydreaming Stage on a beautiful and balmy Friday morning.

Both bride and groom sported vintage-inspired wedding outfits with the bride tossing a bouquet of white lilies to the awaiting bridesmaids, who were dressed in red. The party also consisted of two friends in nun’s habits and a Virgin Mary gently cradling a bottle of Suntory whiskey.

This is the couple’s second time at Fuji Rock. During their first trip to the festival in 2016 they saw another couple getting married at the top of the Dragondola and were inspired to do the same this time. Having a wedding ceremony at Fuji Rock, they said, is very special as they both love music and the vibe at the festival, and can celebrate with their friends.

Asked who they were looking forward to seeing at the festival, they replied:

“Mongol800. But they’re playing now…we were a bit slow getting going this morning.”
