So far this Fuji Rock, I haven’t had much of a chance to go beyond the Unfairground. But thanks to some timely reunions, I finally ventured to the far ends of the festival grounds on the last day of the fest, and was struck at how pleasant it all was. A kakigori booth! Chairs and tables! An orderly line for the bathroom! But above all else, I was struck by this rock climbing wall. The area at the far end of the grounds, has featured similar activities like a tightrope. But this was new, and when I wandered by half a dozen kids were lined up to give it a shot. A nice attraction for the legions of kids in attendance this year — hope it comes back for future installments.
