After years of chasing, Fujirockers finally caught up with Akiyoshi Takada who is the designer behind the popular image that once lined the boardwalk though is now near the Cafe de Paris. We stopped him long enough to ask a few questions.

Why bunny image?
People call me “bunny”. They say I look like a bunny. When they see me, they say “hey bunny”.

Do you do other festivals?
Yes, Berlin, some other places.

The underwear on the bunny says “Boys Don’t Cry”, do you like the Cure?
Yes.

Why the crazy eyes in the bunny?
I also like to rave. If you look closely, you will see something crazy going on.
