Hailing from Kagoshima, Glare Sounds Projection has been active since 2013, and tonight they brought a strong presence to the Rookie a Go Go stage.

Their set involved a lot of atmospheric synths and staccato guitar, but the vocals that soared above it and gave the songs a much needed level of plain spoken musicality.

They have all the elements of a great indie band, solid musicians, engaging songs and decent stage presence. With a little Sakurajima volcanic energy thrown in they might become a real band to watch.
