The Yuichi Ohata Trio brought their friend Sakana Hosomi and gentle rock sound to listeners at the Mokudo-tei stage on the breezy Sunday afternoon of the festival.

Drums, keyboards, and Ohata’s melodic voice while strumming the electric guitar drifted through the trees and along the boardwalk, serenading passersby to drop in and take a closer listen.

The mood was decidedly chilled out and the group churned out a toe-tapping set of laid-back songs fit for a Sunday afternoon.

Mokudo-tei’s intimate wooded setting was used to it’s full advantage, Ohata and friend’s tunes seeming to perfectly soundtrack a stroll through the forest.
