Technical difficulties couldn’t stop Umino Soko Band. Despite being delayed ten minutes due to various sound issues, the group delivered a relaxing set at the Gypsy Avalon optimal for folks still adjusting to the day. Once all issues were patched up, the show started with an acoustic solo song from the outfit’s lead vocalist, before she beckoned for the rest of her bandmates to join her on stage. From there, they played afternoon funk, boasting enough of a kick to elicit some shaking side to side, but ultimately best as a backdrop for soaking in the (surprisingly) sunny weather and maybe indulging in some milk from a nearby stall.
